Hi there,
I'm a brazilian game creator planning to move soon to live in Europe (go away Covid).
I've been making games since 2008 in a wide variety of important game studios here in Brazil, like Riot Games, Aquiris, Rogue Snail and Insolita. I have focused my last decade in master game production, which gave me a deep understanding about Agile methodologies. I truly love to ship ambitious projects and learn a lot during the development journey. I have lived some great examples of work life balance both on high scale projects (50+ teams) as well on small teams.
During my sabbatical I have started with my wife our digital nomad life travelling throughout 13 Brazilian states in a very "MVPed" version of our "mini motor-home" (a.k.a. car with a bed). It's been quite an awesome journey meeting so much deeper our born country's culture before starting our lives there in Europe. Meanwhile I've been asking myself why I like so hard to work making games.
These personal experiences helped me to see more clearly my next career goals:
- Find a great European game studio to work as a Producer;
- Ideally developing their games in Unreal engine, since I believe its adoption will grow even more into next gen development (UE5, Nanite, Lumem).
Bachelor in Design (2007), MBA specialist in Project Management (2011), Certified Scrum Master - CSM (2012) and Product Owner - CSPO (2015).
// moving soon to Dublin with student visa (but open to other opportunities in Europe)
